Manufacturing of tanks, RGS, RVS containers, installation and delivery in Ukraine
The cylindrical steel horizontal tank (RGS) is used to store oil, oil products (light and dark), fuels and lubricants and other liquids. It can also be used as a fire tank, a container for technical or drinking water, provided that the internal surfaces are coated with an anti-corrosion coating or made of stainless steel. Depending on the purpose, horizontal metal tanks are available in three versions:
- above-ground horizontal steel tank (RGS n);
- underground steel horizontal tank (UGS p);
- double-walled horizontal steel tank (RGS d).
RGS tanks are manufactured according to standard designs TP. 83 or customer drawings. All technical design solutions comply with environmental, sanitary and hygienic and fire safety standards in force in Ukraine. If necessary, tanks can be insulated and protected from corrosion. They are manufactured with conical or flat bottoms and are also equipped with hatches. To increase the rigidity, the tank walls are reinforced with support and intermediate stiffening rings. The bottom can be flat (with or without stiffening ribs) or conical. Additional stiffening rings provide protection during transportation, installation, and also counteract vacuum and wind loads. The recommended minimum wall thickness of the tank is 4 mm.
